A little bit about me…I've been working at KOMU 8 News for 2 years as a news producer. I will graduate in December 2026 with my master's degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.

 

I am a visual storyteller, and enjoy the fast-paced nature of broadcast television, as well as the collaboration involved in this industry. My favorite part of being a producer is getting to combine my love for writing and working with a team of fellow journalists.

I also went to Mizzou for my bachelor's degree, where I took courses in photography, photo editing, writing, and news production. In addition to KOMU 8, I have worked at KBIA, the Columbia Missourian and more, during my time here. As a part of my time at Mizzou I also studied abroad in London for 4 months. This experience influences most creative decisions I make today, as I was able to gain cultural and professional experience while I was there.​
