I created this "5 Money Management Tips" list to go in a special section in the Columbia Missourian newspaper known as College Town. The section comes out once a year and college freshman are sent the paper edition before coming to the University of Missouri School of Journalism. I worked with the graphics desk at the Columbia Missourian to follow the newspaper's template, color standards and other elements to follow when making the design. I first came up with the idea when a fellow reporter pitched a story about campus employment, knowing that an accompanying budget list might be helpful for students to keep in mind when weighing income versus expenses in their first year of college. The graphic accompanied the "How to get employed on campus and manage your money" story in the edition.
